LED's on fretboards

Amazing! LED's as fretboard markers! WOW!
simscustom sells it.

Philmusic is a Nightmare

Philmusic is not coping up with the traffic that they are exposed to. They should upgrade since people are not satisfied. It is free, yes but that is not a reason to ignore the users concerns. I hope they wake sometime this century.

Zoom 9002

Tough luck! After so many years of unuse, this gear died out on me. The battery went first. Now the whole thing conked out. I read somewhere in the net that this is a typical occurrence for this device. It mentions electrolytic caps drying out. I have to dissect this beast when I have the time. This is the second gear that died out on me. First on to go was the Boss CS3 Compression Sustainer. Will continue troubleshooting these two when time becomes available.

Forums I currently visit:
I frequent Philmusic forum the most. I bought some gears from their classifieds. I contribute some interesting threads and posts too.

Enjoy the beauty of the Boutique Bass!

Wow! After trying to search for some more boutique bass sites, I found this: http://azwebpages.com/bass/BassMakers.htm

There is usually someone who will be ahead of you when it comes to ideas. Whew!

Update: He's not that complete. He doesn't have Ritter. Har Har!?

Hisonus Jazz Bass

Had a slight case of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) yesterday. Purchased this beautiful MIJ Hisonus Jazz Bass Replica. According to my brother it also sounds awesome. Setup was done by a prominent Philippine luthier, Jon Elegee. The pickguard is non-stock see-through plexiglass. Package includes a padded gig bag and the original tortoiseshell pickguard. Got this bass from Philmusic's Unang_Bilog a.k.a. Brian Anderson of First Circle. Funny thing about this is it seems to have been previously owned by a Malaysian. I googled Hisonus and found a blog that shows the exact pictures. I was hesitant to buy this piece but the clincher came when I saw this two comments: Music Trade Company and Recording Review. They were highly favorable of Hisonus and after all, the bass was beautiful. Can't wait to play when I have my vacation.
